Marketplace Safety Standards
Version 2026-05-30. Core conduct and safety expectations for all users.
0. Scope and objective
These standards apply to all account holders, bookings, communications, and related marketplace interactions, with the goal of reducing harm and preventing abuse.
1. Conduct baseline
Users must behave lawfully, respectfully, and without discrimination, harassment, threats, or coercion.
1.1 Zero-tolerance categories
Violence threats, sexual exploitation, trafficking behavior, identity fraud, extortion, and targeted hate conduct may trigger immediate account locks.
2. Identity and profile integrity
Misrepresentation, fake profiles, forged documents, or attempts to bypass verification controls are prohibited.
2.1 Verification cooperation
Users may be asked for supporting documentation where account risk or report patterns indicate heightened verification needs.
3. Booking and workplace safety
Employers and helpers must communicate accurate job details, locations, and scope; unsafe or unlawful requests are prohibited.
3.1 Safety expectations at work sites
Users must avoid unsafe working conditions, intimidation, and retaliatory behavior. Material safety incidents should be reported through support channels as soon as possible.
4. Payments and fraud
Any scam pattern, extortion attempt, fabricated proof of payment, or coordinated abuse can trigger immediate restrictions and formal investigation.
4.1 Off-platform evasion
Attempts to bypass platform controls to evade safety checks, audits, or fee policies may be treated as abuse risk events.
5. Reviews and messaging
Reviews must reflect genuine booking experiences. Threats, hate speech, doxxing, or manipulative messaging is prohibited.
5.1 Content moderation actions
Content may be removed or limited where it violates these standards, legal obligations, or active safety investigations.
6. Incident handling
MongiKazi may request evidence, restrict accounts, and preserve logs while incidents are investigated.
6.1 Interim restrictions
Temporary restrictions can include messaging limits, booking limits, profile visibility reduction, payment holds, or full suspension pending review.
7. Escalation
Serious incidents may be escalated to relevant authorities where legally required or where user safety is at risk.
8. Appeals and review
Users may request reconsideration of enforcement actions through support channels. Decisions may be maintained, modified, or reversed based on available evidence.
9. Version updates
Safety standards may be updated as risks evolve. The published version/date governs current enforcement expectations.
